Excellent Purchase!!, May 19, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Ariat Women's Heritage Horseman Boot (Apparel) I was very unsure about buying a pair of boots online since they were my first pair, but I'm SO glad I did. I have very athletic calves and can NEVER find boots in stores that will fit me correctly, but somehow these do! They flare out at the top and are very generous around the calf. Not only can I actually get them on, I can wear them with jeans tucked in and socks and be perfectly comfortable. The fit is true to size... I read a few reviews that suggested going down a half size, but I disagree. I think the toe of the boat is slightly long but that a size down would be disproportionate for the rest of the foot, especially if you are going to wear socks. They are incredibly comfortable and worth every penny that I paid. The leather is beautiful and looked exactly the same as the picture. THRILLED with my purchase -- if you're looking for boots, look no further!

They are absolutely perfect. I normally wear a 7 1/2 in street shoes so I ordered an 8. The fit is perfect. The Ariat footbed is perfectly supportive to my high arches, my instep is gently and securely hugged in supportive comfort. They broke in really well. I can definitely wear these all day every day and my feet feel great. I'm not a horsewoman so I can't speak to their performance in that arena, but for everyday use, on the street, looking hot, these are great.

Well when i got them they were huge, and i had to return them, but returning them was a breeze, Amazon.com makes it so easy!! I got them in a 10 and they fit me perfect! I love them!
