I based my purchase on the reviews on the internet. I was initially very pleased with the shoes, although they are firmer in the footbed than I am used to. After wearing the shoes to work for 10 days, the ring the strap runs through snapped in half. When I looked at the pieces, it looked like a very cheap base metal, instead of a good steel that shoes that retail for over $100.00 should have. Now I am forced to pay to have them repaired. I won't be recommending these to my coworkers, and I will be very hesitant to purchase more, especially if they have the same hardware.

When I ordered this Klogs shoes, I chose size 9.5 because I wear thick socks while at work. This shoes are full-sized. so if you wear them without socks, you may want to go half size down. I love this one better than the Dansko that I have. The price is also a big plus, it costed me $30 less than Dansko. I work 12 hours shift, and after work, when i take them off, my feet are amazing. I dont feel any sour or hurt. Must keep item.
